Machine Vision could be interpreted as automatic extraction of information from digital images. It is a type of technology based on image analysis, utilizing software and hardware control techniques to accomplish automation process .
In this project, a sorting system is designed using both software and hardware controls through graphic interface and embedded systems (Arduino, Raspberry Pi) as well as implementing image/video image/video processing algorithm to put different shapes and colors of object into different categories.
We will fully explore its utilization as an autonomous system and completely optimize its performance as a mature product.
