An embedded system with wireless connectivity is proposed to secure shipment of the volatile materials through geolocation monitoring as well as the external lock control. The control system for said lockbox consists of a Raspberry Pi shipment node that controls the state of the device lock as well as the external cloud API responsible for storage and transfer of secure data between the lockbox and shipment nodes.
