The portable wireless oscilloscope is a tool for students and individuals alike that enjoy experimenting with simple circuitry and are in need of a signal analyzer that is both convenient and inexpensive. Our oscilloscope utilizes the arduino uno microcontroller to receive a probed signal through its 10 bit ADC pins. This converted signal is transmitted by the PHPoC shield for arduino via Wifi to any smart device connected to the same IP address as the arduino uno, to a web application that will display the signal. Within the web application the user may adjust time scaling and amplitude scaling of the signal as well as trigger the signal. With the hardware implementation being compact and simplistic, it allows us to store the device in a compact enclosure with inputs for the power adapter and two probe cable inputs for dual channels. Our project allows for compact and inexpensive signal analysis that can be done at any location so that no individual looking to get into circuit design is held back by the necessity for expensive and physically large laboratory equipment.
