Abstract

This project is an audio processing system. The system was built in a Zedboard based on Zynq SoC. The system is capable of recording audio samples and executing five functions over it. The functions performed are FFT, adding noise and LMS filter, FIR filter, playback and audio streaming. The functions are selected by a software inside the ARM processor in the Zynq and are executed by the FGPA. The communication between the FGPA and the ARM is done by AXI interface. The Zedboard communicates via serial with a Raspberry Pi 2 that controls a 7” touch screen that works as a user interface.
