Smart Suitcase

Package security is an often overlooked but critical aspect in everyday society. From shipping containers to personal suitcases, item transportation is far from trivial. In this proposal, the team presents an upgrade to the traditional suitcase. The team seeks to create a personal suitcase that is able to track and follow its user. Additionally secondary features include package orientation, impact detection, smart security, and environmental analysis. The proposed Smart Suitcase utilizes a combination of novel technologies, such as OpenCV to translate visual images into usable data. An iterative design process was used to refine the Smart Suitcase.
