Smart Porta-Potty

Porta-potties are a great significance to today’s world in terms of innovation, simplicity, and convenience. It is used in a variety of occasions, whether it be a construction site or a large event. It in fact serves to be the most important during natural disasters where people who might have lost their homes or in general lose access to traditional restroom facilities, where those will have quick access to a clean and sanitary toilet. However, managing or deploying a large set of portable toilets in a secluded, remote, or challenging space can get complicated, especially if the portable toilets are in use for a longer period of time. That is where the idea of smart porta-potty comes in! We aim to build a smart porta-potty wherein the portable toilet is connected to other toilets through the use of IoT (Internet of things). It will be implemented with numerous sensors to track the the utilization of the toilet and most importantly to keep it as hygienic as possible. We further aim for the portable toilet to be sustainable and hence make it solar-powered.
