This project develops SynthBox, a Raspberry Pi–based digital synthesizer that is playable out of the box with a four-voice oscillator engine and real-time physical knob control. The system combines hardware potentiometers, an MCP3008 ADC, JACK Audio, and the Carla plugin host to route audio and control LV2/VST3 effects through a flexible processing chain. A browser-based web application provides remote control of the synth engine and plugin rack, while the on-screen GUI displays oscillator parameters, level monitoring, and waveform feedback. Overall, the project demonstrates an embedded, web-controllable digital instrument that integrates physical interaction, real-time audio processing, and plugin-based sound design in a compact prototype.
