AirGuard Home

 

AirGuard Home is a smart indoor air-quality monitoring platform developed to help homeowners identify radon risk, mold-prone humidity conditions, and broader environmental safety concerns. The prototype uses an ESP32-based sensing node with a PIN photodiode radon-detection circuit, temperature/humidity sensing, PM2.5 sensing, and eCO₂/VOC monitoring, with data sent to a Firebase cloud database and displayed through a custom mobile dashboard. The system also includes a smart thermostat concept that can connect air-quality monitoring with HVAC control through relays and a smart dial interface. Overall, AirGuard Home demonstrates a scalable home-safety platform that combines continuous environmental sensing, mobile alerts, and future expandability for healthier indoor living spaces.
