Designed for industrial workspaces, the Industrial Delivery Bot is a low-cost autonomous mobile robot that can deliver tools and materials to maintenance staff instead of requiring workers to retrieve them manually. The system combines LiDAR-based navigation, IMU and encoder feedback, camera sensing, ROS2 software, and an Arduino-controlled motor platform to support indoor movement and localization. A key feature is its planned summon capability, allowing the robot to navigate toward dynamic user-requested locations and return to a home dock. The prototype demonstrates functional robot movement, sensor fusion for drift handling, and static-map summoning, with future work focused on wireless building-wide summoning, improved EKF localization, ArUco marker correction, and autonomous obstacle avoidance.
