SafeZone-360 is a compact human-aware safety boundary monitoring system designed for environments where people work near hazardous machinery. The system uses a 360-degree LiDAR sensor, supported by an ultrasonic sensor, to measure human proximity and classify detected objects into safe, warning, and danger zones. A Raspberry Pi processes LiDAR data, while an ESP32 handles sensor fusion, LEDs, and buzzer alerts for real-time visual and audible warnings. The project demonstrates a low-cost, mountable safety platform with live dashboard monitoring and event logging, intended for applications such as forklifts, construction equipment, robotic arms, CNC machines, and lab machinery.
